 Park Place Lexus' racing team was among more than 2,000 cyclists participating in the fifth annual WildRide! Against Cancer, presented by the Richardson Regional Medical Center Foundation, held in conjunction with the Wildflower Arts & Music Festival May 17 in Richardson. Linda Armstrong Kelly, mother of seven-time Tour de France champion and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong, helped kick-off the ride.

 The Texas Rangers recently elevated their game to raise more than $360,000 for charity at the sixth annual Park Place Dealerships Texas Rangers Triple Play fundraiser. Net proceeds benefited the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation. Conceived by Texas Rangers television announcer Josh Lewin, the six Triple Play events have raised more than $1-million to date.

Park Place Porsche hosts Visiting Nurse Association fundraiser
 Park Place Porsche recently hosted the Visiting Nurse Association's "Wheels for Meals and More" fundraising gala, which raised more than $344,000. The fundraiser will help the VNA complete the rebuilding of its  headquarters in Dallas, which housed the Meals on Wheels kitchen before it was destroyed in a 2005 fire. In addition, the money raised will support the VNA's Meals on Wheels, home care and hospice programs.
